Olivia Wilde, Liv Tyler Toast Lunchbox Fund Fall Benefit

Lauren McCarthy"There are 400 events a night in New York, so thank you for coming to this." So said Topaz Page-Green, founder of the Lunchbox Fund, by way of introduction to the charity's fall benefit dinner, held at the Smyth Hotel on Wednesday night.
While certainly true, especially as the fall social calendar begins to fill out, Page-Green's party had a lot going for it. There was bona-fide fashion cred: Prada was the official partner of the evening. For A-list allure, Olivia Wilde was tapped as a cohost, although the actress was a no-show. Foodies were certainly satiated, as the dinner portion also served as the opening night of Andrew Carmellini's latest restaurant, Little Park. And, of course, on the charitable end, the entire fete was for a good cause: the Lunchbox Fund provides daily meals to orphaned schoolchildren across South Africa.
That unbeatable combination brought out a number of notable attendees, including Liv Tyler, Bettina Prentice, Salman Rushdie, Michael Stipe, Rain Phoenix, Sting and Trudie Styler, Sofia Sanchez Barrenechea, Monique Pean, Billy Crudup and Helena Christensen. Tyler, currently pregnant with her second child, posted up toward the front of the dining room, by a shelf that held several of the artworks up for auction. "Should I not be leaning on this?" she asked with mild concern. "I might break it." The actress was out to support Page-Green, a longtime friend. "We shared a boyfriend, Joaquin [Phoenix], once a long time ago," she said. "But not at the same time!"
